Carole Baskin of Tiger King fame is selling feline-themed face masks as protection from Covid-19.

The Big Cat Rescue founder has branded the masks with her “favourite tagline”. The catchphrase “Hey, all you cool cats and kittens” was immortalised in the scandalous 2020 Netflix documentary, which featured big-cat owners from Oklahoma.

Ms Baskin announced her new business venture on Facebook on Monday, via Big Cat Rescue’s highly active page.

An unspecified portion of proceeds from the masks will go towards “supporting the big cats”.

Face masks have become a popular purchase amid the coronavirus pandemic, which has forced Ms Baskin to close her park.

Her machine-washable face coverings are retailing at $11 and can be purchased on tread365.com. Though international shipping is available, it will more than double the price for UK buyers.

Masks are not the first piece of merchandise flogged with Ms Baskin’s slogan. You can also buy t-shirts on Represent.com.

Carole Baskin became a household name after the March 2020 release of Netflix’s Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness, in which she is targeted by violent threats from fellow big-cat owners.

While Ms Baskin is cashing in on her new-found fame, her rival - Joe Exotic - is undergoing a 22-year-jail sentence after being convicted for paying a hitman to murder Carole, and multiple counts of animal abuse.

On Sunday, American Pie actress Tara Reid claimed she was in the running to play Ms Baskin in a movie remake of the documentary.
