This bathroom is transformed into a a Scandi inspired sanctuary

Thinking of redecorating your bathroom? It can be a daunting task but don't worry, we'll give you the insight on how we transformed Kai and Joe's cramped beige bathroom into a Scandi-chic haven.

We wanted to achieve a Scandinavian clean aesthetic so opting for a classic subway tile with dark grout was a clear choice. Dark contrast grout adds a modern touch to the tiling but is also simple enough to stand the test of time. Tiling the walls all the way up to the ceiling creates a sense of space and gives the room a design lead feel.

Although the wow-factor of the bathroom is most certainly the bold tilework, the clawfoot bathtub and leafy plants add extra life to the space. A beautiful roll top bathtub is an easy way to add a sense of luxury to any bathroom. In this particular case we felt a traditional bathtub created a great juxtaposition to the modern sleek aesthetic and added a cosy touch.

Our top tip when it comes to bathroom decor is to keep things simple, instead let your accessories showcase the character and personality. Accessories can easily be updated to keep the space looking fresh and modern.
