Fashionable double act Dean and Dan Caten unveiled a collection inspired by nomadic surfers in Milan today.

Citing 'mavericks who travelling the world in search of the ultimate ride', the Italian Canadian design twins showcased bonded leather board shorts, scuba inspired leggings and studded perforated vests layered over tattooed tulle body suits.

Sportswear emphasises a nineties influence. Neon stripes featured on black boxy jackets while oversized beanie hats were worn throughout.

Denim, key to the Catens' DSquared2 label, is available in two options next season; tapered cropped jeans are given a worn-out and beaten up look through fraying, bleaching and tie dye whilst boxy indigo shorts and jeans are offered with corseted silhouette.

The designers also went heavy on print today - palm trees emphasised the idea that these were clothes for high summer and featured on tanned leather jackets and shorts, whilst rainbow flags cleverly replaced classic sportswear stripes on board shorts and track suits.

The result was a playful spectacle that invited DSquared2 enthusiasts to embark on their summer immediately.
