Riverdale actress Lili Reinhart has revealed that she’s bisexual on her Instagram stories.
The 23-year-old posted to say that she was attending an LGBTQ+ Black Lives Matter protest in Hollywood, and opened up about her sexuality at the same time.
She wrote alongside a poster for the march: “Although I've never announced it publicly before, I am a proud bisexual woman. And I will be joining this protest today. Come join.”
The actress then shared clips from the peaceful protest.
Lili has been outspoken about racial injustice on her personal social media accounts, and recently tweeted in reference to the George Floyd killing: “I want to say that I am ashamed of the racism that exists in this country. We are taught to look at our police officers as helpful and friendly when we learn about “leaders” in elementary school.
“Our “leaders” have failed us today.”
The actress is known to have been dating fellow Riverdale actor Cole Sprouse since 2016, however the couple is rumoured to have split recently - although neither party has confirmed or denied the news.
Cole has also been vocally supportive of the #BlackLivesMatter movement, and was arrested after joining a peaceful march in Santa Monica this week.
He revealed on Instagram that he was detained with zip ties, but stressed that he wanted the focus to be on the movement.
"So before the voracious horde of media sensationalism decides to somehow turn it about me, there's a clear need to speak about the circumstances: Black Lives Matter," he wrote. "Peace, riots, looting, are an absolutely legitimate form of protest."
