Oprah gifted baby Archie his ‘Duck! Rabbit!’ birthday book

Can you spy the telltale ‘Archie’s Book Club’ sticker on the cover?

Earlier this week, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry let us all in on baby Archie’s first birthday celebrations with a reading of his favorite book. And unsurprisingly, he has some very cool family friends sending him presents.

As it turns out, Duck! Rabbit! was gifted to Archie by Oprah Winfrey.

Harry recorded Meghan reading the book to Archie as part of Save The Children’s ‘Save With Stories’ campaign, which benefits vulnerable children around the world during the coronavirus pandemic.

And if you look closely, you’ll notice that Archie’s copy of the children’s book has a sticker on the cover that reads, ‘Archie’s Book Club,’ which is modeled after the ‘Oprah’s Book Club’ sticker that adorns all Oprah-approved books.

Oprah Magazine, which was founded by the media mogul in 2000, also confirmed on its site that the book was, in fact, from Oprah. The magazine shared that Duck! Rabbit! Was part of a collection of books that Oprah sent following Archie’s birth.

“I have a standard gift that I do for people that I really care about,” Oprah said to Access Hollywood last April.

“I don’t know the baby’s name or the baby’s gender, but this baby will have enough books to last a lifetime,” she confirmed of the gift she would be sending (though she must have received a heads up on Archie’s name before she had all of those stickers made up).

Oprah attended the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's royal wedding in 2018, and she has been a firm supporter of their decision to step down as senior members of the royal family.

She has also co-created and co-produced a documentary series with Harry. Set to be screened worldwide when it makes its debut on Apple TV+ later this year, the series will focus on mental health.
