London's Zone 4 is becoming an increasingly tempting option for homebuyers, thanks to improved transport links in areas that are still relatively undervalued.

The average price of a home in Zone 4 is £421,000, which is considerably cheaper than Zone 2’s average of £723,000 and also more affordable than Zone 3 in which the average property costs £488,000.

Quick commutes are also part of the appeal. The average train journey to central London takes 33 minutes, while in some Zone 4 areas that commute time can be can be cut in half.
