IRE 20/2 (4.0 overs)

Tector 0, Delaney 14

Runs, runs, runs. Delaney fortuitously edges past slip for Ireland's first boundary of the afternoon.

He then backs it up with back-to-back fours, making it 12 runs in three balls, the first an absolute belter in front of square, the second a beautifully timed drive through cover.

Much better from the visitors.

IRE 7/2 (3.0 overs)

Tector 0, Delaney 1

Quality bowling from Willey. Wicket Maiden. Two overs, two wickets. And he nearly has another - Tector gets drawn into the same delivery Balbirnie fell to at the start of the over but, fortunately for Ireland, he misses with the drive.

Terrible start for Ireland. David Willey's been out of the England side for 14 months, but he's made a great start on his return.

WICKET! Balbirnie c Bairstow b Willey 3

IRE 7/2 (2.1 overs)

Calamitous start for the visitors! Another wicket within the first three overs! And it's another for Willey! The drive was never on, but Balbirnie was tempted into it, and he nicks it straight behind to a grateful Bairstow behind the stumps!

30 July 2020

IRE 7/1 (2.0 overs)

Balbirnie 3, Delaney 1

Delaney gets himself off the mark as he opens up the face of his bat to steer away to third man for a single. Balbirnie finishes the over with a knock towards fine leg for one.

30 July 2020

IRE 4/1 (1.0 overs)

Balbirnie 2, Delaney 0

England couldn't have asked for too much more in the first over of the match. Ireland's dangerman Stirling gone for just two. And David Willey has an early wicket! Cracking start.

That is so soft from Stirling. Morgan was there, very specifically at catching midwicket, for him. David Willey is back!

30 July 2020

WICKET! Stirling c Morgan b Willey 2

IRE 2/1 (0.4 overs)

Wow! What a start for England! But that's soft from the visitors! Ireland's dangerman Stirling clips it straight to Morgan at midwicket. First over, first wicket!

And we've begun! Time for some white ball cricket!

As the bell rings, all the players from both sides - and the match officials - have taken a knee in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.
