1. Water For Thought: Life-Changing Design

Enter the concrete curves of this spectacular showroom designed by Zaha Hadid and touch the surface of one of the eight chic modern hand basins filled with water.

You will activate underwater screens showing videos exploring the plight of the many millions of people who do not have access to safe water for sanitation.

This show is presented by Spanish bathroom company Roca and includes the most innovative designs for accessing, transporting or purifying water in developing countries.

2. Learning In Glass

Murano in Venice is famous for its handmade glass, prized by collectors and tourists alike. But here on display are 14 new pieces made with daring modern moulds developed by seven international designers.

Be inspired by the power of light to change space, as shown in a dazzling display of artworks from the Sixties to the present day, transforming two floors of the Hayward's cavernous, concrete-walled gallery.
