Sevilla won the Europa League for the sixth time on Friday night following a five-goal thriller against Inter Milan.

Luuk de Jong netted a double for the LaLiga outfit after Romelu Lukaku's early penalty, but Diego Godin quickly had Antonio Conte's side back on level terms.

An engrossing contest was settled 16 minutes from time when Diego Carlos' bicycle kick was turned into his own net by Lukaku.

Prediction: Sevilla 1-2 Inter Milan

This is a really difficult contest to predict, with both sides full of confidence and in great form.

Sevilla have triumphed in eight of their last nine matches, while Inter have won five straight in European competition for the first time in a decade.

A thrilling final should await and it would not be a surprise to see this tie progress through to extra-time and penalties.

However, Inter boasting two of the continent's most in-form strikers in Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku, plus their miserly defensive record - one goal conceded in seven games - could well give them the edge.

Lukaku has now scored in 10 successive Europa League outings and will be eager to extend that record further when it matters most.

That was absolutely brilliant from Lukaku. As soon as he got the ball from Barella he had one thing in his mind as he knocked it around Carlos.

The Brazilian was always losing that race and inexplicably, he's made another hash of the challenge. Very lucky not to be sent off there too.

GOAL! Sevilla 0-1 Inter Milan | Romelu Lukaku (pen) 5'

What a start for Inter!

That's 11 games in a row he's scored in the competition and there was no doubt with the penalty, squeezing it underneath Bounou who went the right way.

3 mins: PENALTY TO INTER MILAN!

It's Diego Carlos again who gives away the penalty again!

It's the third time in as many games he has been penalised for a foul in the box and it's definitely a foul when he hauls down Lukaku.

Is that a red card? He didn't try to win the ball but it's only yellow for Carlos - and he's very lucky indeed.

1 min: Already the Sevilla players are surrounding the referee after Reguilon goes down following a flailing arm from D'Ambrosio.

VAR checks for a red card but it's just a foul. Nothing too wrong with that.

Will the Argentine leave on a high note and guide his side to success?

The prize in all its glory

Chelsea will finally let go of the Europa League trophy some 15 months after they beat Arsenal 4-1 in Baku.

Will it be Inter Milan or Sevilla who will have their names carved into the silverware tonight?

Despite his spells at Chelsea and Manchester United, Romelu Lukaku hasn't got a Europa League medal to his name.

Tonight, the Belgian will know he will never get a better chance to put that to bed. He's scored in 10 Europa League games in a row in the Europe and arguably, no one deserves it more than him.
