Founded by four partners at the University of Edinburgh - Joshua Ward, Maxwell Wood, William Symington and Ciaran Dawson - Tala is a young British lighting brand making waves in the design world.
Now a team of 16, the brand has an impressive 33k followers on instagram and products stocked by Heal's and Selfridges. After recently launching their products in the United States, the company is set to sell 500,000 lighting units this year.

The brand's instagram is all about clean, minimalist design. Tala does a lighting "retrofit" each month, kitting out independent businesses, with stunning results. The brand takes suggestions of businesses from their instagram followers - we love the inclusive feel (and the "10 trees" programme is a massive win for sustainability).
