It’s good news for last-minute panic shoppers from fine food mail order company, Forman & Field, with orders taken until 10am on Friday June 2, for Saturday deliveries throughout the UK.

Bestselling picnic hamper, ‘The Great British Summer Pick’, is a classic selection of Scottish salmon, Welsh lamb, Lemon Tart Brulée and a Formantini Cocktail, delivered in a picnic carrier with cutlery and crockery (£109.95; serves two).
Or the 'Finger Food picnic buffet' for two (right; £46.95) includes Thai crab cakes, tiger prawns, homemade bread, Greenwich London lager and Profiteroles.
For those entertaining at home, the ‘dinner parties’ in a box offer six different menus and require minimal cooking and plating. The ‘Fit for a Queen’ menu serves two (£39.95) with plates of cured salmon, coronation chicken, chargrilled asparagus and red, white and blue macaroons, all washed down with a bottle of rosé.

To mark the British summer of celebrations, Harrods has created a range of limited edition hampers, with ingredients chosen by five British Icons. Renowned chef Richard Corrigan has designed a Fine Feast Hamper (£100) with celebratory street parties and picnics in mind. It's filled with potted shrimps, olive sticks, hams, ginger beer and a very apt Queen of Puddings for dessert.
The V&A curators have designed a glamorous ‘Belle of the Ball’ Hamper (left; £225) to coincide with their special British Design season and exhibition ‘Ballgowns: British Glamour Since 1950’. This includes Duval Leroy Femme Champagne, Fiona Cairns cake and Ouse Valley Jellies.
The British Icon hampers are not available online but can be ordered in store or by calling 020 7730 1234 up until Saturday June 3 (depending on the delivery address). Free same day delivery is available to SW1, SW3, SW7, SW10, NW1, W1, W8, W11, W14. Other central London postcodes can receive same day delivery for £12, and outside of London costs £30 for next day delivery.

Luxury grocer Fortnum & Mason is offering a range of made-to-order picnic hampers with fresh ingredients. The Outdoor Feast Picnic (for two; £85) includes chilled Muscadet, fresh olives and crudités, hand-carved Wiltshire ham, poached salmon, pork rillettes spread on crusty bread and some slices of chicken, tomato and mozzarella pie. Finished with fresh strawberries and mint, it's all packed into a smart Fortnum’s cool bag, with cutlery, crockery and picnic flutes.
The Fortnums Wicker Picnic for two (right; £200) is a delicious selection of beef carpaccio and bread rolls, dressed lobster, an English garden salad, a cheese course and fruit tarts, with champagne truffles, English sparkling wine and a bottle of English rosé.
