Mugs for every mummy

Yummy mummy

Big Tomato Company
A novelty thought for Mother’s Day comes from the Big Tomato Company. Its range of mugs is for every mummy — from the yummy to the slummy, from the superior to just the plain super mum. The company is owned and run by Gloria Daniel, who started by selling only the humble squeezy tomato.

These mugs are normally £8.99 each (plus £4.95 p&p) but Homes & Property readers can buy them for £7.99 each, if ordered by tomorrow (19 March), to ensure delivery by Saturday. To order, visit www.bigtomatocompany.com and enter H&P in the message box. Call 020 8968 1815.

Copper saucepans

A few coppers more

Masters & Makers
If you know anything about the price of new copper saucepans, you will also know that the estimates for the Victorian copper in next week’s interiors sale at Christie’s South Kensington are entirely reasonable.

A set of eight saucepans and lids from 1880 is estimated at £1,200 to £1,980, while a collection of jelly moulds is £2,000 to £2,500. Other lots include silk curtains and some fine oak furniture.

Traditional bath taps
The Masters & Makers sale is on 24 March from 10.30am; viewing from Saturday. Christie’s, South Kensington, 85 Old Brompton Road, SW7 (020 7389 2236).
