What's on in London: Colefax and Fowler sale at The Royal Horticultural Halls

Arrive early as queues are likely at the sale of all sales with huge reductions on top-end textiles.

Colefax and Fowler sale, January 22, 10am to 5pm, last entry 4.30pm, The Royal Horticultural Halls, Lindley Hall, Elverton Street, SW1.

This is the sale of all sales, when the fabric houses of Colefax and Fowler, Jane Churchill, Larsen and Manuel Canovas, above, fill the hall with rolls of top-end textiles at great reductions of up to 70 per cent. Jane Churchill fabrics are £20 a metre, and other luxury brands are £26 a metre.

These are recently discontinued lines and smaller remnants from the current range. They will cut to as little as half-a-metre — brilliant for exotic cushions.

Measure up or estimate carefully before you go, and take colour references for your room — paint samples are good for this.

Get there early as queues are likely.
