Tom's new shop is in the dock
Ex-enfant terrible of the British design scene Tom Dixon has just opened his first London shop - in an old Victorian goods carrier in Kensal Green - selling both his own and other international designers' furniture, lighting and accessories.
New products include the Void statement pendant lights in copper, brass or chrome (£250; right) and the dazzling Fluro bench made from lacquered birch offcuts (£350; right). A glass of their own
Arianna Brissi and Siobhan McKeating, who have turned off-white, silver and grey into a lifestyle, are opening another new store in Battersea at the beginning of next month. New season's products include etched glass goods starting from £5 for a water glass, a decanter (above, £16) and a whole range of bathroom fragrances. Leading lights at the fair
It is time for the Decorative Fair in Battersea Park, where you can still pick up the occasional quirky bargain, such as the lamps above from £175 each). About 130 dealers will be exhibiting, and there's a special exhibition put on by the Kennel Club Art Gallery.
