Just when you thought there was no way this year could get any stranger, we're now being persuaded to wear fish on our feet.

A bizarre Croc-clog hybrid, the fish flops come courtesy of a British brand, appropriately named Coddie's, and are offered in the shape of either a salmon, a mackerel, a goldfish or a cod.

The brand was started by British entrepreneur - the 'codfather', Jack Bennet, in 2018.

In order to drum up publicity for Coddie's fish flops during lockdown, the brand established its own TikTok channel which began churning out funny videos featuring the fishy shoes.
