RHS London Harvest Festival 2016: celebrate autumn with pumpkin carving, giant vegetables and unusual displays

Celebrate the season’s garden bounty at the RHS London Harvest Festival Show at RHS Lindley Hall, near Victoria station, on Tues 4 Oct, 10am - 9pm and Wednesday 5, 10am-5pm.

As well as the Giant Pumpkin and Autumn Fruit and Vegetable competitions, there will be apples and chillis to taste and buy, Wisley experts on hand to help you identify your fruit and unusual displays that include vegetable chandeliers and a hanging backdrop of flowers, fruits and foliage.

New exhibitors this year include Seedlip’s non-alcoholic spirits, The Orchard Project, with a display on the work it does restoring and planting orchards across London, Capital Growth, helping Londoners grow their own; Priestland Birch, with soaps, sap and tea from the birch tree and Riverford Organics.

On Tues evening, the Late event, from 6pm-9pm, includes pumpkin carving, apple bobbing, delicious cocktails and music from folk musician Robin Grey.
