Wheelbarrow gardens are set up at Southbank
Every day until Sunday June 9: see the playful wheelbarrow gardens lined up like a roller coaster, set up by the Edible Bus Stop team at Southbank, adjacent to the Hayward Gallery, Level 2 Terrace.

Mosaic making
June 7: join mosaic artist Jacqui Symons for a free mosaic-making session to create new works of art for the Royal Brompton Hospital's Sydney Wing courtyard garden. There are two workshops to choose from, one held at 11am, the other at 3pm. Children and adults welcome.

Dalston Eastern Curve Garden
June 8: part of Open Garden Squares Weekend, Dalston Eastern Curve Garden, Hackney, is built on the site of a disused railway line and has a wildflower meadow, copses and native hedgerow; rainwater is collected in whisky barrels. Chat to the gardeners on Saturday afternoon and sample rocket pizzas from the wood-fired oven and mojitos from the botanical bar.

Museum of Terrariums
Every day until Sunday June 9: design company Squint is exhibiting a Museum of Terrariums, (above) curated by The Balcony Gardener, at its South Kensington store. The glass containers and their contents, as well as windowboxes, will be on sale.
