Futures, 2 Exchange Square, EC2 (020 7638 6341). Menu changes daily under the aegis of Spanish head chef, Angel. Resembling an oversized greenhouse, Futures offers eat-in or an alfresco terrace option. Takeaway also available.
Mildreds, 45 Lexington Street, W1 (020 7494 1634). In the core of Soho medialand, this spacious veggie eatery serves up its ever-popular 'burger of the day' by the cartload. Casual, no-frills d?cor.
Manna , 4 Erskine Road, NW3 (020 7722 8028). London's oldest vegetarian restaurant offers a subtle, urbane atmosphere with an exciting wine list and positively gourmet organic brie with roasted leek strudel. The perfect wind-down after a stroll on Primrose Hill.
Diwana, 121-123 Drummond Street, NW1 (020 7380 0730). Humble d?cor, but a delicious, authentic Bhel-Poori menu guarantees that this diminutive, out-of-the-way Indian is never short of clientele. Reasonably priced and BYO.
