Drooling over food posts is a mandatory pastime for any Insta user.

London offers a variety of indulgent treats that are Instagrammable in every sense of the world.

From chocolate bomb creations to innovative DIY dishes there’s something to suit every taste, all of which are incredibly photogenic.

For those looking to improve their page aesthetic (or just wanting to make their followers incredibly jealous), these are the London desserts that should be on any Instagram user's radar.

Strawberries and Cream Biskie at Cutter and Squidge

This summery pud oozes a delicious vanilla and strawberry filling and is beautifully decorated with a half strawberry on top and green and white finishing touches (very reminiscent of the Wimbledon lawns). Sandwiched desserts are huge at the moment, so even more of a reason to show off to followers.

S'mores at Flesh & Buns

For those who can't wait for bonfire night, this dessert offers a DIY fire pit to toast some passion fruit marshmallows on. It comes with almond chocolate and graham crackers to sandwich on either side, to make a sticky marshmallow middle.

Chocolate Glory at Bob Bob Ricard

Bob Bob Ricard’s menu is decadent to say the least, so naturally their puddings are incredibly Instagrammable. The Chocolate Glory is the showstopper here. The silky chocolate sauce breaks open the dessert revealing a chocolate mousse, chocolate brownie and passion fruit and orange jelly. This one is definitely worth a video too.

Various at Yauatcha

This Soho spot switches up desserts on a seasonal basis but every time they are stunning in their presentation. Try their autumn collection of puds featuring a selection of mousses and tarts, which look too good to eat on the most part.

Icéclair at Melba at The Savoy

A unique take on the classic eclair, these Icéclairs (filled with ice cream) are intricately decorated on top and they’re definitely worthy of an Insta. The ice cream comes in a variety of flavours like dark chocolate, Sicilian pistachio, salted caramel and wild berries and the glazes on offer include chocolate, caramel or raspberry sauce and a dark, milk or white chocolate. To top it off (literally) there’s a selection of decadent garnishes.

Carrot Cake at Basement State

This creative pud, is the definition of an Instagrammable dessert. It’s made up of spiced carrot cake, carrot fluid gel, cream cheese chantilly, edible chocolate soil and candied baby carrot but more impressively it's made to look like something you’d find in an allotment. Insta addicts take note, this dessert and cocktail bar in Soho has a selection of photo-worthy items on its menu.
