Teenager charged with murder of London drill rapper Bis in Deptford

A teenager has been charged with the murder of a drill rapper known as Bis in south-east London.

Elijah Morgan is accused of fatally stabbing 20-year-old Crosslom Davis in Bronze Street, Deptford, in the early hours of December 6.

The 19-year-old, of no fixed address, has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

A date has yet to be fixed for Morgan’s first appearance before magistrates.

Mr Davis was a member of the Harlem Spartans music group, based in Kennington, south London.

He was found suffering stab injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was one of three men stabbed to death in 12 hours of bloodshed in the capital.

Tributes were paid to "bis" online following news of his death

Following his death, England footballer Jadon Sancho paid tribute to the musician on Twitter.

Above a picture of the teen, the Borussia Dortmund winger wrote: "Rest up bis".

The charge follows an investigation by the Special Crime unit's homicide detectives.
