Job: Kitchen Specialist - We are after a new kitchen!
Description: "We have been to Ikea, Wickes, Howdens, Moben, John Lewis of Hunderford and Harvey Jones. We have loved a couple of kitchens we have seen, but been put off either by 'designers' who do not listen or irritating sales people. Ikea - draws were good but cupboards a bit rubbish Howdens - not convinced about longevity of either cupboards or drawers (we would actually like this to last us) Wickes - if we had to, we would settle for the one we saw in Wickes. Moben - just did not trust the 'designer' who came here to do a design/quote which was a shame because they had the first kitchen that we got excited about. John Lewis of Hungerford - designer didn't listen to us and his design left us with less storage than we currently have. Shame because cupboards etc look well made, and we liked the pantry cupboard we saw there. Harvey Jones - we really thought this was going to be the one for us until we started looking at what we were paying for. They wouldn't let us take away the plan we came up with in the shop and they wanted to charge ?750 for a home visit to measure and check the design done in the shop."
