The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are currently carrying out a surprise two-day royal tour of Northern Ireland.

The visit has seen the couple take part in a range of activities, from a game of footie to pulling pints. Kate, ever the pro, has made a number of savvy style choices and quick changes.

From practical sporty outfits to elegant evening dresses, there isn't a situation the duchess wasn't prepared for.

Proving her sartorial skills once again, here is everything Kate has worn during the action-packed tour.

The walk around

Kate stunned in a caped lavender blue coat as the couple did a walkabout in Ballymena on their second day in Northern Ireland.

The smart outerwear was from Mulberry's autumn/winter 2018 collection and also featured a flattering waist belt. Kate perfectly paired the show-stopper with matching dark blue court heels by Rupert Sanderson and a Jimmy Choo clutch bag.

The couple's second day in Northern Ireland started off with a meeting with the Chief Constable of the Police Service of Northern Ireland, as well as other police officers and staff, at Hillsborough Castle.

Kate wore a sophisticated tonal blue look, which featured a royal blue dress that had been custom made by one of her favourite designers, Jenny Packham.

The royal couple attended the Belfast Empire Hall and dressed up for the occasion.

Kate debuted a new evening dress: an elegant mint pleated Missoni dress with metallic thread woven throughout to give it a glittery effect. The £1,590 number didn't stop Kate from getting stuck in behind the bar as she pulled a pint in the stylish get-up.

For a spot of canoeing

The duchess also went canoeing and showed off her archery skills, for which she opted for a lightweight Barbour puffer jacket. The navy outerwear is still available to buy for £159.

A Game Of Footie

Kate's day got off to a very sporty start as the duchess took part in a friendly game of football.

The active mum-of-three looked like a pro as she ran around the pitch in black skinny jeans and New Balance trainers. The Fresh Foam Cruz v2 Nubuck trainers in 'Vintage Indigio' cost a reasonable £80 - and are also available in red, pastel pink and light blue.

She also wore a cricket-inspired V-neck cable-knit jumper by Ralph Lauren. The preppy knit is on-trend right now, with brands like Off-White, Kent & Curwen and Burberry all selling versions of the sporty knit.

Royal Arrival

Kate arrived in Belfast, for the unannounced Northern Ireland visit, looking every inch a royal in a striking red coat by Carolina Herrera.

It was, however, not a new addition to Kate's wardrobe. The 37-year-old first wore the statement item of outerwear in 2017 for a trip to Paris.

She paired it with skinny jeans and a modern pair of heeled lace up black boots from L.K. Bennett, which the duchess had worn earlier this month.
