Pouncing on the popularity of Palworld, Xbox is giving away a custom Xbox Series S and four controllers themed after the hit survival game.

The goodies are part of the latest sweepstake from the Microsoft-owned gaming giant. To enter, just follow the official Xbox account on X (formerly Twitter) and repost its promotional post, which we’ve included below.

Oh, and if you don’t meet the 18-and-over age restriction, just ask a parent or older sibling to do it for you. With the offer ending on March 17, there’s still plenty of time to take part.

As for the merits of the prize, it’s admittedly not as cool as some of the swag Xbox has offered in the past. Back in 2021, for instance, it gifted a lucky player a Far Cry 6-themed Xbox Series X, which looked like a makeshift electric generator. And who can forget the delightfully bizarre Xbox controller that smelled like pizza?

This time around, you’re getting the less powerful Series S adorned with a Palworld artwork featuring the game’s Pokémon-style critters. The quartet of custom controllers is a step-up from the console, each based on an individual Pal and its distinct colour.

There’s a pink gamepad for Cattiva, blue for Pengullet, yellow for Grizzbolt, and green for Mammorest. You can keep one for yourself and give the rest to your mates. Or, maybe you already own an Xbox, in which case you can stick everything on your mantelpiece.

Did we mention that Xbox is also throwing in three months of Game Pass Ultimate? The game subscription service lets you download or stream more than 300 games, including Xbox exclusives on the day of their release.

Due to its affordable price, the £250 Xbox Series S is viewed as somewhat of a dedicated Game Pass machine. That it plays only digital games, due to its lack of a disc drive, also adds to that perception.

Given that Palworld is the biggest third-party game on Game Pass, giving it the console custom treatment makes perfect sense.
