London house prices: the top 10 most exclusive boroughs

We reveal London's 10 most expensive boroughs in which to buy a home, according to the latest Land Registry figures.

Kensington and Chelsea remains in the top spot, but with just 0.3 per cent growth it has experienced the smallest annual increase in house prices in London over the past year.

The south London borough of Southwark has the ninth most expensive house prices in the capital, but has also seen the greatest annual increase of the prime boroughs.

We reveal the capital's top 10 most expensive boroughs in which to buy a home, according to latest Land Registry figures, highlighting the continued eastward spread of prime central London. Hackney - taking in areas such as Dalston, Hackney Wick, Shoreditch and Hoxton - recorded the biggest annual property price rise of the top 10 boroughs, up 10.7 per cent in the past year to £627,213. Southwark saw the steepest monthly rise, with the average cost of buying a home now reaching £559,910. But which borough now has average prices of nearly £1.35 million?
