St Martins Lane Hotel is bringing a Cuban theme to the table for New Year’s Eve.

Asia de Cuba’s pre-revolution party will journey back to the 1950s with a six-piece band and dancers celebrating Havana’s hey-day.

The Covent Garden venue has a five-course dinner menu on offer at an early sitting (5pm-7.30pm) and late sitting from 8pm, priced at £75 per person or £125 per person here.

The party continues in speakeasy-style at Blind Spot bar, hidden behind the façade of a boutique tea counter in the hotel. This prohibition-themed event will have a 1920s theme with entertainment from a guest DJ and burlesque dancers. There is a minimum spend of £35 per person from 5pm – 8.45pm and £55 per person from 9pm.

Big spenders may also be interested in events hosted at the sister hotel Sanderson, just off Oxford Street.

The ‘Ultimate NYE Penthouse Party’ comes with its own penthouse suite big enough to invite 20 friends and soak up panoramic views of London.

Those who book will also be treated to front row seats for the London fireworks show on their very own private roof terrace on top of the hotel.

Champagne, a deluxe seafood buffet, cocktails, hot punch and snack at midnight are part of the £12,000 package based on four people staying over.

For those seeking a budget friendly option the New Year’s Eve party in the Sanderson’s Long Bar is priced at £200 with a glass of champagne and sweet treat canapés on arrival in the Billiard Room, a four-course dinner in The Restaurant at Sanderson, more bubbles at midnight and a night cap. Cheers to that.
