Rochester: new homes

Ruxton Square (01634 840260) on Union Street in the town centre is a development of 45 (12 affordable) two-bedroom affordable flats and two-, three- and four-bedroom houses by Jones Homes; prices of the three-bedroom houses start at £205,000 and the four-bedroom houses at £287,500.

Liberty Park in Hoo Road in the village of Wainscott is a Crest Nicolson development 450 (98 affordable plus 62 care home units) of two-bedroom and three- and four-bedroom houses with prices ranging from £124,500 for a two-bedroom flat to £250,000 for a three-bedroom detached house.

Rochester Riverside in Royal Oak House, Doust Way is a development of 24 one- and two-bedroom flats from Hyde New Homes. Shared-ownership flats are for sale from £30,000 for a quarter share of a flat valued at £125,000.

This is the first stage of the massive Rochester Riverside development which will eventually see as many as 2,000 new homes built on the river Medway to the east of the town centre; the mixed use development will also include cafes, bars, restaurants, two new hotels, offices and a riverside walk.
