The Clapham Old Town Regeneration Project is a £2.8 million scheme around the Polygon near Holy Trinity church designed by the architects of the London Eye Barfield Marks. Traffic will be re-routed, buses better managed and a new public square is to be created.

Macaulay Walk (Savills 020 7795 4600) in Clapham Old Town is a development by Grainger Plc of 84 one, two- and three-bedroom homes on the site of the former Ross Company optical works.

The old warehouse buildings are being converted into houses with large top floor living areas as well as flats with two large penthouses.

Elsewhere on the site there are new build flats and houses and an office block where unusually units of varying sizes will be for sale. The development will be launched shortly and prices for a one-bedroom flat will start at around £295,000.
