Sets in the city: Drumcode Halloween at Tobacco Dock

Top dog: Alan Fitzpatrick will play at the east London event

This weekend a troop of more than 5,000 techno heads will descend on Tobacco Dock for Drumcode’s Halloween special.

Some of the biggest names in the business will be playing from midday until 10.30pm, spread across three main rooms within this beast of a venue for what promises to be an eye-popping, immersive experience.

The Great Gallery is a hulking warehouse space. Enrico Sangiuliano, Ilario Alicante and La Fleur will play alongside headliner (and Drumcode label founder) Adam Beyer. Swedish DJ and producer Beyer will have the whole warehouse stomping, fresh from an iconic set at ADE in Amsterdam where he smashed Awakenings, one of the biggest parties of the festival.

In the Little Gallery, there’s a strong line-up including Bart Skils B2B Layton Giordani. Boxia will also play, as will Ida Engbeg — the Swedish star is Adam Beyer’s wife, making them the ultimate techno power couple. This room gives you a chance to escape the large crowds and find real intimacy with the soundtrack they’ll be providing.

Head down to the Car Park for hard-hitting duo Dense and Pika, London-born BEC and the king of big room techno, Alan Fitzpatrick — his set might just be the highlight of the event.

Insider tip: Don't rock up too late — there's no entry after 6pm.
