Ward & Partners was formed in 1921 with an estate agency office in Gillingham.

Expansion from 1945 led to Ward & Partners having 33 sales offices by the mid 1980's with a reputation for being at the forefront of innovation and marketing.

It was at this point in time that a number of insurance companies and banks acquired estate agencies and Ward & Partners were acquired by Prudential Property Services. This happened at the same time as the housing market collapsing and finally resulted in Prudential selling the business in 1991.

During the Prudential era the Kent operation was expanded so that when Arun Estates took over the name of Ward & Partners re-emerged with over 40 offices.

Today, we are the market leader with 50 offices in Kent and East Sussex and a further 70 under the Arun umbrella across the south east of England.

So what has contributed towards this success?

It all starts by having the right people and our staff are generally considered to be the most professional and committed in the business, complimented by a highly experienced and motivated management team and superb training department.

We have a fully integrated business which offers a genuine One Stop service. Not only do we arrange house sales, but we arrange the necessary finance, the conveyancing and through our professional services arm we can carry out the survey. We find by keeping all this business under one roof we can control the sale far more effectively thereby reducing the stress and worry of our clients.
