Walker Singleton property consultants have been established since 1889 we currently manage a substantial portfolio of buy to let investments nationwide from city lofts to terrace properties and deal with over 450 clients. Many of our clients include private investors, as well as property investment companies and mortgage lenders. These include Yorkshire Bank, Mortgage Express, Leeds & Holbeck, The Britannia and Skipton Building Societies.

We are located within Halifax, West Yorkshire. Being centrally located enables us to effectively manage properties throughout England, Scotland and Wales. We are fully conversant with the Landlord and Tenant Act, Housing Law and the working of the Housing Benefit System. We can also arrange rental insurance along with many other services through our affiliation with Homelet Landlord & Tenant service provider. Favourable insurance rates can also be obtained through our Property Management portfolio in conjunction with Jardine Lloyd Thompson, one of the countries largest brokers.

We are members of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA), the national body which regulates the activities of letting agents. We are also full members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and we were one of the first firms of surveyors to achieve ISO9001 Quality Accreditation back in 1994. We have also recently joined The Tenancy Deposit Scheme for Regulated Agents (TDSRA) which has been developed to ensure that the deposits we hold are protected and that disputes about their return are resolved swiftly, inexpensively and impartially. We are also registered with Construction Line as approved contractors for the provision of property services to the public sector. We are also Court approved expert witnesses in relation to property disputes.
