Jackson-Stops & Staff, Bury St Edmunds
The Bury St Edmunds office works in close co-operation with offices in Newmarket, Ipswich and Norwich to ensure widespread coverage throughout East Anglia. We specialise in the sale of quality town and village houses, cottages and larger country houses, in particular we have an enviable reputation in the field of listed buildings and a high proportion of the houses we sell are either listed buildings or in conservation areas.
As well as residential sales we are able to offer a range of professional services including formal valuations for private and commercial clients. Our commercial clients include major high street banks, The National Trust and Suffolk County Council.
Through our network of central London and Country offices we are able to promote our clients properties to the National and International market.
Bury St Edmunds is a fine medieval market town located at the centre of East Anglia. The town offers an excellent range of shopping, cultural and leisure facilities and is home to the beautiful Abbey gardens which frame the ruins of the 11th Century Benedictine Abbey. Our offices occupy a prominent position on the Angel Hill in the heart of Georgian Bury St Edmunds.
The region is well served by main roads with the A14 trunk road running just north of the town. This road gives access to the East coast ports or to the West connects with the A11 and M11, which leads via Stansted to the capital. For the rail commuter there is a mainline service to London’s Liverpool Street from Stowmarket taking approximately 85 minutes. Alternatively Cambridge station offers a service to both Liverpool street and King’s Cross.
