Swift Relocations
A LONG ESTABLISHED FAMILY BUSINESS
Swift Relocations was established in Carmarthen in 1988. This is significant as a new housing act came into force in that year. The 1988 Housing Act completely altered, and opened up The Private Rental Market Sector.
David Crane and Rona Crane owners of Swift Relocations moved back to Carmarthen in 1981 taking over various family businesses and property. They initiated redevelopment of commercial and residential lettings, one of the main sites was at Jackson's Lane, 1 King Street , and 60 King Street in the town centre, as well as redevelopment and letting projects in the centre of Haverfordwest.
David and Rona Crane moved Swift Relocations into the present town centre location at 1 King Street , Carmarthen (just off Nott Square ) in 1992.
It was in 1992 that David Crane due to requests from family and property owners established Crane Property Management.
Swift Relocations and Crane Property Management grew steadily over the years due to word of mouth and recommendation without the need to advertise. David carried out numerous redevelopment schemes, for individual, and large companies, specialising in letting and management of residential housing.
The present day offices occupied by Swift Relocations and Crane Property Management have been in the Crane Family since 1883. The predecessors as far back as David's Great Great Grandfather have owned and traded at this location until the present date, over120 years one of the longest family owed businesses in Carmarthen .
