Sanders Witherspoon
Our firm was established in Essex in 1953. Frederick Sanders founded the practice in Upminster and shortly after opened the Brentwood branch in 1958.
Philip Witherspoon joined the practice in 1978 and became a Partner in 1984. In April 1992 he became a majority partner and then the Brentwood branch became Sanders.
Witherspoon, Philip Witherspoon being the Senior Partner. Tim Gir joined the practice in 1997, and became a Partner in April 2002.
Since 1989 the Brentwood practice has grown both in terms of work and staff. This included the opening of a further office to accommodate the criminal department in Shenfield in June 2002.
