Michael G Lewis & Son
Established in 1966, we are one of Swansea's longest established letting management agents.
We let and manage properties, house and flats in most areas of Swansea including Dunvant, Killay, Sketty, Mumbles, Gowerton, Loughor, Gorseinon, student accommodation in Uplands and Brynmill as well as executive lets in the SA1 Properties and Marina area.
We are a friendly family run company. The partners of the firm Michael and Robert Lewis. who collectively have over 66 years experience in the field of property management believe that they give one of the most comprehensive service to their clients together with the personal attention necessary to cope with all eventualities.
With the ever-increasing popularity in investment properties in Swansea, it is imperative that good sound advice is sought before purchasing such a property. There are so many pitfalls, including the Houses In Multiple Occupation (HMO) Regulations under the Housing Act 2004 that are enforced by Local Authorities, along with Gas, Electric and Furniture Regulations that are in force on all rented accommodation in England and Wales. From, we believe 1st October 2008, all properties being let will have to have an Energy Performace Certificate or EPC. We are registered under The Dispute Service for the Tenancy Deposit Scheme
Robert Lewis, who was one of the first 17 in the country to pass the Technical Award in Residential Lettings and Management, is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents (FNAEA) and is the Chairman of the South Wales Branch having served on the committee for more than 20 years. He is a member of the Association's Examination and Awards Board and an Assistant Business Practice Officer for the Association. Robert prides himself on the fact that he has a vast knowledge of the Residential Housing Law and gives the best advice to Clients.
We specialise in letting residential properties - catering for singles, couples students and families alike. Whether you are a landlord or tenant, it is always better to get factual, honest information before you enter into any agreement.
