Kurtis Property Services, Essex
Our History
Established in 1989, Kurtis are involved in all aspects of residential property, sales and letting.
The main emphasis is focused throughout East London and Essex. A broad based multi disciplined, independent practice incorporating a combination of directors and consultants whose expertise encompasses complete knowledge required in the ever-changing property market.
Currently the company is expanding to rise to the challenge of the property market in the new millennium, with a commitment to maintain high standards of traditional service that all our past, present and future clients deserve.
Sales
A very experienced team of property consultants, mortgage planners and marketing co-ordinators competently control the day-to-day running of the sales division.
The Kurtis aim is to continue to cater fully to vendors and purchasers alike. Guiding a house sale or purchase through to completion takes careful thought and planning, in order to gain a speedy and satisfactory conclusion for all concerned. The key to our success has always been the need for accurate house valuations. The Company’s marketing co-ordinators ensure all vendors are made aware of the ever constant changes, and regularly update them. This way all properties get the best market coverage from this exclusive service.
Mortages
Kurtis had been linked with Winterthur Life Plc for several years, as their financial services arm. The Company has since severed all links to the tied agency financial market, and now offer fully independent mortgage advice.
Letting
After constant requests from clients, past and present, for a letting service, Mr. Glenn Cohen decided to fulfill that demand. Kurtis Letting Division was formed in 1995, and is operated by Mr. Elliot Dash. Since its inception, the department has far exceeded all expectations of business volume, and having worked alongside the success of the estates division, they were able to command a very large percentage of the rental housing market throughout East London and Essex.
With Kurtis controlling such a stronghold of the rental market, their Management Department maintains a 24-hour service, and is responsible for property realisation of over 42.5 million pounds. As a consequence of such a large turnover, the importance of being able to adhere to the various safety and inventory stipulations takes time and control. Their management team solely devoted to such, ensure rents, inspections, renewals and reports are served regularly.
With the large increase over the last ten years in turnover, the company has had to invest heavily into bringing staff of the best calibre, in order to maintain the type of service clients have been accustomed to receiving. Along with this, the company’s information technology has been upgraded to enable them to prepare in-house state of the art digital photography of the highest standards for property brochures and housing developments.
Our Philosophy
Mr. Glenn Cohen, Managing Director of Kurtis has always instilled in his staff the need for total awareness, changing attitudes, and most of all, service of an honest and genuine nature.
Mr Cohen says: " We have always been aware that the best clients are contented ones, happy with the service, and eager to tell others"
"During ever changing and awkward times, there is a great need for tolerance and understanding. Fortunately, my Company’s long experience during the boom and the lean periods of the housing market, have enabled us to be more aware than other agents of all the various problems and traumas that may surround a transaction."
