Keith Ashton Estates, Billericay
Keith Ashton Estates, originally founded by the late Keith Ashton (senior), began trading on the corner of Gresham Road, Brentwood, in the early 1960's. In the late 1960's KJ Ashton (senior) passed away, and the name Keith Ashton Estates was to lie dormant.
April 1987 saw the re-launch of Keith Ashton Estates, when they once again opened their doors to the people of Brentwood. With rapid expansion in mind, partners Nigel Coyne and Mark Reeve soon opened their second office in the village of Kelvedon Hatch in 1990.
By 1995, Keith Ashton Lettings Department formed a large part of the business and a separate dedicated lettings office was opened. This was eventually located in a ground floor office in St. Thomas' Road, a few yards from the sales office.
The year 1998 saw the opening of our in-house Independent Financial Services Department. More recently, updated and rebranded to form a sister company, "Mortgage Business" (www.mortgagebusiness.net). During the same year ETS Estate & Letting Agents were acquired, considerably expanding the portfolio of the Residential Letting Department.
January 2005 has seen the opening of our exciting contemporary style office in the heart of Billericay, dealing with both sales and lettings, equipped in line with our existing branches, with state of the art technology.
Further expansion for 2006 includes the exciting launch of Keith Ashton International, our overseas property department (www.keithashtoninternational.com). We will be offering a wide selection of new and resale properties within many locations, including Spain, Florida, North Cyprus, Dubai, Thailand, Croatia and Bulgaria. We will be continually assessing this market place, which will enable us to offer the best properties to suit all requirements, be it for an investment, holiday home or permanent move.
