Igloo, Whitley Bay
Igloo may be a relatively new name on the High Street having opened its first branch in Wallsend during Autumn 2004 followed by a branch in Whitley Bay during Spring 2005. However, Managing Partner Brian Johnson started in the business in 1981 with a Central London national chain of estate agents. He subsequently worked for some of the most prestigious names in the industry achieving Director level within a household name PLC.
He is ably assisted by experienced and very skilled Senior Negotiators Karen Best, Cliff Barton, Sheila Rutherford and Julie Mc Lellan. It is a combination which obviously works as all members of staff have worked with Brian in the past at other organisations.
The original idea was to create an innovative fresh approach to estate agency with the emphasis very firmly on service.
The name of the company reflects this contemporary approach being readily memorable and totally different to the typical proprietor name above the door.
