Drivers & Norris have practiced as Auctioneers, Estate Agents, Surveyors and Valuers, in the Holloway area of North London, since the two businesses were amalgamated, in the first quarter of the twentieth century.
The Firm can trace its origins to Mr. Driver, agricultural agent to the Tufnell Estates, who established his business in 1852 practicing as Driver & Co until 1870 from the Northern Estate Office corner of Seven Sisters Road, Holloway. Then from 1871 as Driver Perfect variously at number 2 and number 8 Seven Sisters Road. In the last quarter of the nineteenth century, Mr. Norris, landlords agent, was in business in the Holloway area. After the 1914-18 war, the two firms merged to form the present company.
The business of the Firm is to provide a combination of the services of auctioneers, estate agents, surveyors and valuers.
These property services are provided to private, commercial and industrial Clients, primarily, but not exclusively in the London area to the North of the River Thames, bounded by the M25.
The Firm is controlled as a Partnership, with the Partners responsible for the supervision and control of a total of some thirty people, handling properties for private, commercial and industrial Clients.
