Desouza Residential, Earlsfield Sales & Lettings
Ever since Fabian Desouza set up Desouza Residential in May 2000 he has been convinced that he wasn’t going to stay put in the office at 173 Garratt Lane for long, and once you meet him its obvious he’s not the sort to sit and twiddle his thumbs. Sure enough, six years later they have had to move offices, to accommodate the growing number of staff and to ensure that the new office creates the right impression with vendors and purchasers alike (the old one was beginning to look a little on the squashed side).
The new office which is located a few doors up from the original office , but more than three times the size and on a more prominent corner site is, quite literally, all singing and all dancing. Desouza , who prides himself on looking after his staff and his clients, has spared no expense in ensuring that the new office looks and feels the part with its air conditioning and Italian tiled floor, custom made desks and high tech bright multi-screens displaying colour floor plans virtual tours and up to the minute weather reports in the window. The new office which has been designed by Richard Baker, who also designed Gordon Ramsay’s kitchen is a breath of fresh air to the traditional office. Baker has never designed an estate agency before, which , according to Fabian was part of the appeal, "We wanted to ensure that we stand out from the crowd, whilst also retaining some of our traditional values. Our logo and the use of the colour purple is important to us and has become recognised over south west London and indeed further a field.
