There has been an Estate Agency opposite St John's Church in Hillingdon Village since 1972 when the business started out as Gordon Boon & Co. The name changed to Coopers Estate Agents in 1986 when Jack Cooper took over the business.
Jack Cooper today runs the agency giving a personal and friendly service, latterly in association with Paul Hofsten who also has some 30 years experience in the local area. Both are Fellows of the National Association of Estate Agents, having been members since 1973.
Jack's son Mark joined the business in 2004 to take back the reins of the local property rental department after it had been managed by an outside management company for some years. Personal service is now once more assured.
The last few years has seen expansion into the foreign property market, primarily in Cyprus and Spain but is now being extended to include a range of popular countries. The overseas department is run jointly between Jack and his brother Jim who has until now been involved solely in marketing property in Cyprus. As you can see, Cooper's is truely a family business combining old fashioned values with the latest in marketing techniques.
