Still a family owned and operated business dating back to 1852. Formerly two generations of building contractors, surveyors and property managers. Despite two wars and bereavements the business re-established in a traditional Estate Agency form in the 1960's.
The aim of the business, with inherited qualities, will we expect, continue with the same attitude to provide a family orientated SERVICE which is proving unique these days and very much in demand.
Growth in the 1990's and more recently has seen the business establish FOUR new branches. All in strategic towns within 25 miles of the Head Office at Colchester .
Our acquisition of Gordon Suckling Estate Agents in 2000 provided us with an established holiday letting portfolio centred around Frinton-on-Sea.
We constantly review our office procedures, and computer systems. Our changes to I.T. have helped us link all our offices and by using bespoke software we have increased our efficiency and capacity to continue with our growth for years ahead.
Each office has trained negotiators who have passed examinations set by The National Association of Estate Agents or The Association of Residential Letting Agents.
Qualified Chartered Surveyors are on hand to give professional survey, valuations and management advice.
A local firm with firm roots in the Colchester community past and present. We support as many local charities, societies and leisure/sporting organisations/events as possible.
